Las Bandas des Arles, Provence (6 images)

During the 2009 Easter "feria" in Arles, rain cancelled the "corridas" and bull events. Wandering the streets, I found myself witness to an impromptu dinner concert. Couscous was served; friends danced in the streets, throwing fake money and stock certificates in the air. The bands played on while across the globe, financial markets crashed and burned.

In September I returned to photograph the Abrivado (running of the bulls) in Nimes, seen in the final image.
